• FactCheck.org - Annenberg Political Fact Check from the Annenberg Public Policy Center of the University of Pennsylvania acts as a "consumer advocate" for voters by verifying political information included in speeches, ads, and other communication.
• FAIR - Fairness & Accuracy In Reporting from a liberal watchdog organization who promotes "independent journalism," provides critiques of news events in an effort to encourage greater dissemination of "neglected stories."
• Federal Election Commission includes information on campaign finance.
• Issue Coverage Tracker from the Washington Post newspaper lists prominent topics in the campaign and news coverage on those topics matched to the candidates.

• Election Center 2008 -Debates from the Cable News Network features the latest campaign coverage including debate transcripts
• Debate History, from Commission on Presidential Debates, a nonprofit, nonpartisan corporation that sponsored all the presidential debates in 1988-2008 provides summaries and details (when available) from the Lincoln/Douglas debate in 1858 to the present.
• The Great Debate and Beyond: The History of Televised Presidential Debates from the Museum of Broadcast Communications in Chicago contains video clips, photographs, and commentary on debates from 1960-2000.
